  • Overview

    Summary: Responsible for various accounting and clerical tasks related to the maintenance and processing of accounts payables and product manuals.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Any one position may not include all of the listed duties, nor do all of the listed examples include all tasks which may be found in positions within this classification.

     

    • Answer telephone and monitor lines on hold for prompt response time.
    • Prepare and distribute the daily mail and morning reports.
    • Type and file parts tickets and repair orders.
    • Collect payments from customers on parts tickets and repair orders.
    • Check purchase orders for receiving and charging.
    • Keep record of payables to be sent to the corporate office.
    • Assist in the entry of warranty claims.
    • Provide purchase orders to vendors.
    • Maintain a strong, personal commitment to the safety culture.
    • All other duties as assigned.

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Experience working with customers, vendors and all levels of an organization is preferred.
    • Ability to utilize desktop computer systems, hardware and operating systems (i.e. MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, MS Outlook, Internet Navigation, 10-key touch, Minimum 40 WPM).

    • Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
    • Ability to sit for long periods of time.
    • Work in air conditioned office, outside and workshop.
    • Will be required on occasion to work more than 8 hours on one shift.
    • Requires occasional bending, stooping, lifting and carrying.
    • Reaching or handling with arms, hands and fingers.
    • Manual dexterity sufficient to work with fingers (i.e. frequent typing)
    • Normal vision with or without corrective lenses.
