Summary: The successful candidate will provide engineering drafting and designing support to departmental engineers.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Includes part design, part creation, assembly creation, and drawing creation using 3D and 2D design software.
  • Must be well experienced using Solidworks, including routing features, large assemblies, and multi-level BOM’s
  • Ability for reverse engineering and limited component selection to ensure the product works as intended
  • Limited knowledge of Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems
  • Ability to perform general calculations required for the task at hand
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and requires multitasking of projects
  • Good knowledge of ANSI drafting standards and GD&T required
  • Must take direction well and be able to work well in a group environment as well as on their own
  • Will take direction from project engineers or engineering manager
  • Must have familiarity with ECO / ECR processes
  • Will have interaction with clients and expected to perform in a professional manner and present a professional image at all times.
  • Some travel may be required
  • 3 years of related experience required


  • Must be highly motivated and able to produce quality work in a timely manner
  • Assist in the creation and improvement of company products
  • Identify solutions to unique and complex problems
  • Required to follow all company and departmental procedures


Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to occasional climb ladders and crawl underneath trailers
  • Work in the office as well as the shop floor
  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling and crouching
  • Occasionally exposed to cold, heat, noise, mechanical/electrical fume or odor.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to work with fingers.
  • Normal vision with or without corrective lenses.
