  • Overview

    Summary:  The successful candidate will provide engineering, manufacturing and project management support. 

    Responsibilities

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Includes design engineering, solidworks, 3D modeling, drawing creation, reverse engineering, component selection, and project management.
    • Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-hydraulic systems
    • Ability to perform calculations including, but not limited to horsepower, torque, cooling capacity, etc.
    • Ability to meet tight deadlines and requires multitasking of projects
    • Must have familiarity with ECO / ECR processes
    • Understanding of Stresses, Strains, Factors of Safety, Strengths of Materials, Etc.
    • Understanding of Thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and rigid body mechanics a plus
    • Requires basic overseeing and managing of projects with multiple people working on them.
    • Will have interaction with clients and expected to perform in a professional manner and present a professional image at all times.
    • Oil field background and/or diesel engine knowledge a plus
    • Some travel may be required
    • 3 years related experience required

    • Assist in the creation and improvement of company products
    • Identify solutions to unique and complex problems
    • Required to follow all company and departmental procedures

    Qualifications

    Physical Demands:

    • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
    • Ability to occasional climb ladders and crawl underneath trailers
    • Work in the office as well as the shop floor
    • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling and crouching
    • Occasionally exposed to cold, heat, noise, mechanical/electrical fume or odor.
    • Manual dexterity sufficient to work with fingers.
    • Normal vision with or without corrective lenses.
